i thought this place would be classy, but i was treated to a tiny bathroom without even a sink! not to mention the banging from above— absoluteley ruined my night's sleep. i woudl ve been grateful for a complimentary gesture after such an experience, but clearly, that’s too much to ask! could’ve been a good review but just couldn’t.

The breakfast was really tasty and beautifully presented.
My stay was marred by several disappointments. The bathroom was extremely small, offering no sink, which made basic tasks difficult. the noise from upstairs was disruptive, and the tight shower unit left much to be desired. the environment was not conducive to a restful night's sleep.

Lovely getaway in Windermere 🌄
Such a lekker spot! Rob and Becky are true gems—made us feel right at home. The brekkie was a highlight, those sausages hit the spot! Plus, the room was just what we needed, cozy and clean, with a lovely view. We woke up to the sound of a gentle stream, so peaceful!
Just a bit of a tight squeeze in the bathroom, but honestly, didn't ruin the stay.

Friendly vibes with comfy beds!
Just spent 2 nights with Rob and Beccy, and it felt like visiting friends! The place was spotless, really cozy, and the breakfasts were top-notch—especially the fresh fruit! Only tricky part was the tight shower space, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our stay at all. Their local tips were super helpful too!

Loved my stay, especially enjoying the super comfy bed and the hot, powerful shower! The garden area is perfect for relaxing with some lounge chairs and a peaceful seating area. Just a heads up, the bathroom is a bit on the snug side, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. 🌼

We felt deeply welcomed by our hosts, who provided excellent local recommendations. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions while being in a quiet area.
The shower room was quite small and lacked a sink, which was a little inconvenient.

This place is a commendable fit for a temporary stay in Carlisle (Cumbria) with real value for money. Breakfast was delicious, really flavorful and served warm. Consider bringing earplugs, as noise can come from above you.
